¡Hola! This place has
got the lot – mountains for skiing, lovely beaches
for surfing or just chilling out and of course the fiestas!
In the capital Madrid, the best place to start exploring
is the Puerta del Sol – the city centre. Madrid
is home to ‘Los Galacticos’ or Real Madrid
and is the home of Spanish football (although don’t
say that to Barca fans). Barcelona is probably more well
known especially after the 1992 Olympics and has a great
mix of architectural styles with one of the most prominent
illustrated by the Sagrada Família church, designed
by Antoni Gaudí. For island getaways, Spain boasts
some excellent beaches especially the Balearic Islands:
Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, the latter still being the
pinnacle of Europe’s clubland in our opinion. |
