Monaco
is the place to go for those who like glamour, casinos
and cars! Of course, you don’t have to possess
any of these to have a great time, as people watching
is the local pastime.
The Monaco Grand Prix, held in May each year, brings the
cream of Formula 1 to the city’s compact streets,
although many of the drivers already live here! If you
are driving, there’s a big public car park near
the Monte Carlo Casino. You may see some of the supercars
in the private section on your way to the mere mortals
section.
Those on a budget are best advised to stay outside
Monaco and daytrip in. You can get into the casino
(although you’ll need convincing ID to show
you’re over 21) for a nose around, but to
get to the serious action you’ll need and
equally serious amount of cash in your wallet.
