With
flat coastal areas in the north and the Alps in
the south, Germany is a great destination for both
beach and skiing holidays. For the nature kinda
people there are numerous nature reserves to enjoy
the silence, while all the major cities offer enough
entertainment for any party animal to pub, club
and shop till they drop. If you feel the need for
speed, try a drive on an Autobahn. But beware: Speed
limits have been introduced even to this last refuge
of the boy racer.
Contrary to popular belief Lederhosen are not the
national costume for all of Germany; if you want
to see some thigh-slapping you’ll have to
look in Bavaria, Germany’s southernmost federal
state.
