Since the end of Apartheid in 1994, South Africa has been coming to terms with its diverse multi-culture and has been struggling to find its identity. It is however a interesting country as its is made of Native Africans as well as those of Dutch and English descent. While racism still continues, the majority of South Africans have come together to form a unity.
The country's landscape is varies immensely, so be prepared to be awed by the amazing differences one can find on a long road-trip through the land. From the amazing beaches throughout the country, and the spectacular Garden route journey, to the dry barrenness of the Karoo, as well as the spectacular views from waterfalls and treks through rainforests, to the enjoying a game drive in one the country's many and well preserved game parks. It is definitely a country one requires time to fully explore and enjoy.
