Scarytan came about when a friend who was about to go travelling wanted a website to show off their travelling exploits through photos and a diary. In true Scarytan style, instead of working hard, we searched for an existing service to use. But at the time there wasn't much on offer for the traveller, so we began our journey to world domination by putting together this website to offer the young traveller a means to share their travel experiences.

The founders, invariably known as Kez and Deej among other things, share a passion for technology and travel. So much so we uprooted ourselves from the UK and went to Australia to conduct market research. Okay, we just wanted to see the world and Oz was a good place to start.

We are currently working on new features for the site to enhance your travelling experience. So check back soon!
